Fertility counselling
Get clarity and peace of mind
At Freya Fertility we offer professional and personalised fertility counselling — whether you are about to start your first attempt, or you’ve already been through a treatment path.
What is fertility counselling?
In fertility counselling you receive an assessment of fertility including information about your options to have a child. For women this includes blood tests and ultrasound scans; for men a semen analysis.
We also advise whether you (as a woman) should have a tubal-patency test (HSU).
The consultation happens with one of our physicians specialised in fertility, gynaecology and obstetrics.
Who can benefit from counselling?
Couples who have not yet started fertility treatment
Singles or LGBTQ+ persons who wish to become parents
Women over 35 who want to know their fertility potential
Couples who have experienced several unsuccessful attempts
People considering egg donation, sperm donation or ROPA
Anyone wanting a second opinion before the next step
What you get from the consultation
- An honest and realistic assessment of your chances
- Review of relevant test results, hormone levels and treatment options
- Insight into alternative options (IUI, IVF, ICSI, egg donation etc.)
- Clear information about costs, process and waiting times
- An ultrasound scan of uterus and ovaries (for women)
- A semen analysis to assess sperm quality (for men)
- A review of possible treatment paths based on your situation
Safety and quality
At Freya Fertility, you meet an experienced team that takes the time to understand your entire story – not just the numbers.
We see every patient as a person with unique needs, wishes, and boundaries.
“I cannot express how grateful I am for doctor and the entire Freya team for giving me my beautiful baby!
My healthy, happy daughter was born December 14th and was a wonderful gift…“
