Initial consultation

Your first visit – safe, clear, and personal

At your first, non-binding consultation at Freya Fertility, you will meet one of our experienced fertility specialists, who takes the time to understand your story and situation.

What happens at the consultation?

The consultation includes an ultrasound scan of the uterus and ovaries, as well as a review of your general health. Together with the specialist, you gain clarity on which tests – for you and, if relevant, your partner – are still needed before a possible treatment plan can begin.

Based on the conversation, we discuss further investigations and treatment options – some patients are already ready to start treatment, while others may need time to think or look into things further.

Why is this consultation important?

It gives you space to be heard and to ask questions.

It creates the necessary foundation for treatment - we do not start without an overview.

It helps create a sense of security - you know exactly what will happen next and why.

It allows us to tailor the course precisely to your story and your needs.

Ready for the next step?

Consider your most important questions in advance – for example about treatment, finances, or your family plans. Write them down so we can ensure clarity and a sense of security together during the consultation.

Have you received treatment before?

If you have previously undergone fertility treatment – regardless of the outcome – it is very helpful if you bring:

  • medical records

  • stimulation protocols

  • lab score sheets describing embryo development

  • any information about your partner’s semen quality

These documents give our specialists a much more precise and nuanced basis for assessing your situation, adjusting your plan, and ensuring that we choose the treatment that best suits you and your story.
